Pigeon Arrested as Pakistan Spy Suspect by Indian Police

Really? Well, yes, actually, maybe?  Take a break from the unending apocalypse bad news reporting and relax with real news from India.  Indian families living near the border with Pakistan were asked to report suspicious activity (sound familiar) which resulted in the capture and jailing of a pigeon under full guard, in isolation and in an Air Conditioned room. Highly unusual treatment for a Pakistan spy!

The truth appears even stranger.  The pigeon had a rubber ring (think msg tie off) around its leg and a Pakistani telephone number and address stamped on its body in red ink.

For those who just love "24" details, the number '303-6284620' was written in red on the pigeon's feathers along with a rubber stamp – Islamabad Wazirabad-Pakistan.

India Officials are sure to list the pigeon on their no fly list and have asked for updates three times a day.

Of interest to all, no mention if anyone has called the Pakistani telephone number or who the name was.
